I thought my drinking was to blame for why I never showed up on time to anything.
My lateness persists today.
At one time, it was the same with alcohol. Nothing could save me from promising myself again and again – usually with a cruel, bullying hangover – to never drink again.
And again.
But I always drank. Again. And again.
